My One and Only

I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him.2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will never be shaken.

Where does your peace come from? Where do you turn when everything in life seems to have turned on you? God never promised that when we came to Him we would stop having difficulties and trouble. The psalmist declares that Salvation comes from God alone. He also says that he is our only rock and stronghold.
That's a lesson to be learned. If we would only stop turning everywhere else for our strength, comfort and security we would proclaim with the Psalmist, "I will never be shaken."
