David asks for God to give him a steadfast spirit. He wants to be steady or consistent. But to be consistent in godliness not spiritual failure.
God can make us steady. He can keep us consistent in our walk. He is willing, if we are. Pray today that God will make you consistent in your walk. It may make all the difference as you follow the Master.
