Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
Do you have His joy today? Now, I am not asking if you are happy. You may or may not be happy but you can still have joy. Joy is not happiness. Happiness is an emotion. Joy is something more. It is a state of mind. It is a sense of peace even contentment in your spiritual state of being. Joy of salvation is just that. It is a peace or contentment in your salvation. Happiness comes and goes but Joy holds on no matter what the circumstances.
Be joyful today in your salvation. Honestly nothing else really matters.
