From Him

"Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.

1 Chron 29:12 (NASB95)

Everything we have, in fact everything we are or achieve is all from Him.  It all belongs to Him.  It is not ours but His.  When we understand this fact as King David did it will change how we handle are stuff and ourselves.  If it is God's we are merely borrowing it.  Our money, our gifts and talents and all of our stuff is not our own but His.

Are you handling your things as something borrowed?  That is what stewardship as a Christ follower is all about.
